A winter wedding at The Arlington Estate is already magical, but Bianca & Luca transformed the venue into a true winter wonderland. Their January celebration brought together Italian family traditions, cinematic snowfall, warm candlelight, and luxurious Christmas‑themed décor — creating one of the most visually striking weddings we’ve photographed at this iconic Vaughan venue.

A Winter Wonderland Vision at The Arlington Estate
Bianca & Luca always dreamed of a winter wedding. As an Italian couple who loved the romance of the season, they embraced everything that comes with a January celebration — the crisp air, the snow, the cozy atmosphere, and the chance to create something truly unique.
Their color palette was a festive blend of red, white, and green, beautifully tying together the winter theme with their Italian heritage.
• Bridesmaids wore elegant red dresses paired with white fur coats
• Groomsmen wore classic black suits
• Bianca wore a long, flowing gown (with UGG boots for outdoor photos — iconic winter bride move)
Snowfall That Turned Into Cinematic Magic
During the outdoor portrait session, something incredible happened — it began to snow for about five minutes. Just enough to create a soft, dreamy snowfall that made the images look straight out of a movie.
We photographed the couple in front of the estate as snowflakes drifted around them, using the Sony G‑Master 35mm 1.4 on the Nikon Zf to capture the atmosphere with a natural, cinematic feel.
The cold was real, but Bianca & Luca powered through with smiles, laughter, and the kind of energy that makes winter weddings unforgettable.
Ceremony at St. John the Evangelist in Caledon East
Before arriving at The Arlington Estate, the couple held their ceremony at St. John the Evangelist in Caledon East. The church was beautifully lit with natural and spotlight illumination, allowing us to photograph the ceremony without flash.
There were no elaborate decorations — the focus was on family, heartfelt speeches, and the emotional connection between Bianca & Luca.
Luxury Christmas‑Themed Décor by Weddings by Ardenian
When guests entered The Arlington Estate, they stepped into a full Christmas‑inspired transformation designed by Weddings by Ardenian.
The décor included:
• Custom Christmas trees throughout the venue
• Warm white lighting
• Gold candelabras with glass cylinder candle holders
• Winter greenery with red berries
• Gold glass charger plates
• A massive tiramisu cake
• A head table framed by two towering Christmas trees
• Three gold shelving units filled with florals and décor
Every detail was intentional, cohesive, and visually stunning — a dream for photography.
Reception Lighting That Elevated Every Photo
One of the standout features of The Arlington Estate is its upgraded lighting package. The venue uses spotlights to illuminate:
• Each table
• The head table
• The podium
• The dance floor
• The grand entrance area
Because the lighting was so well‑designed, we photographed the entire evening without flash, capturing the natural ambiance exactly as guests experienced it.
The couple’s custom monogram was projected onto the walls, so we incorporated wide‑angle shots to showcase the scale of the room and the elegance of their branding.

Lobby Portraits, Espresso Martinis & Family Photos
The Arlington Estate lobby is one of the most photogenic spaces in the venue — featuring a stylish bar and a large espresso machine that became the perfect backdrop for:
• Bride & groom portraits
• Bridal party photos
• Groomsmen portraits
• Family group photos
• Fun moments with espresso martinis
The space is large enough to accommodate big family groupings, which made the formal photos smooth and efficient.

Drone Footage & Nighttime Exterior Shots
As the night went on and guests partied until 1 AM, we captured cinematic drone footage of:
• The couple walking outside
• The estate glowing at night
• The venue’s exterior lighting
• The snowy grounds
• Guests celebrating inside
The Arlington Estate’s dynamic lighting — which changes color to the beat of the music — made the nighttime footage especially vibrant.

Macro Details & Ring Photography
Using a Sony 90mm macro lens, we photographed the rings inside one of the winter‑themed centerpieces filled with white roses. The combination of macro detail and winter florals created elegant, timeless detail shots.
